Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring a Pre-KTeacher Assistant to work with teachers and families, following NAEYC guidelines. You will help create a home-away-from-home environment and support a diverse group of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.

No classroom experience? Paid training is provided to learn classroom procedures and safety protocols while contributing to a warm, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
