Job summary

Springfield School District is hiring All 4 One - Elm Hill - Springfield, VT, for an Afterschool Program Staff (Teacher Assistant) in the Pre‑K PM slot. This role supports before/after-school and summer programs, supervising children and volunteers.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, relevant certificates, and CPR/First Aid eligibility with VT orientations. The role is hourly and offers a salary between $21.02 and $22.28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be eighteen years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; after one program year required to have additional qualifications.
• For Pre-K – School Age staff: CPR-First Aid certification or 3 months to complete; VT orientation/training within timeframes.
• CPR-First Aid certification or 3 months to complete; 9 hr VT orientation or 1 month to complete; Mandated Reporting Training or 1 month to complete.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and attendance; support instructional activities for children in Pre-K to Grade 6.
• Supervise Afterschool Aides/Volunteers in classroom.
• Provide a safe, engaging environment and monitor students during activities, including field trips of up to 2 miles.
• Support compliance with local policies and required training.
