Job summary

All 4 One - Riverside Middle School in Springfield, Vermont seeks an Afterschool Program Staff to supervise and instruct children in before/after school and summer activities. You will oversee aides and volunteers while maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities include daily attendance, instructional support, field trip assistance, and adherence to local policies. Requires communication, confidentiality, and ability to work with youth of varying ages.

Qualifications

• Be eighteen years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent and after one program year required to have one of: Vermont Afterschool Foundations Certificate, Vermont Afterschool Essentials Certificate, Vermont On the Job Training Certificate, Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential, Vermont Program Director Credential, Vermont Teacher License, BA/BS or Associates degree.
• CPR-First Aid certified or have 3 months to complete.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily operations in before/after school and summer programs.
• Supervise Afterschool Aides/Volunteers in the classroom.
• Provide a safe, engaging environment and monitor student safety.
• Assist on field trips, walking or bus, with daily two-mile program requirement.
