Job summary

ALL 4 ONE is seeking an Afterschool Program Staff - Pre-K PM to support a before/after school and summer program in Springfield, VT. The role involves supervising children from Pre-K through 6th grade and guiding activities in a safe, engaging setting.

The position requires various Vermont credentials or a degree, the ability to walk daily 2 miles during program hours, and CPR/First Aid. Competitive pay ranges from $21.02 to $22.28 per hour with a school-year schedule.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm, responsibility and willingness to learn.
• Must be eighteen years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; for school age roles various Vermont credentials are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine functions to support daily operations including attendance, instructional support, copying materials, greeting families and children daily.
• Supervise Afterschool Aides/Volunteers in the classroom.
• Provide a safe, caring, engaged environment and stay in close proximity to students at all times.
• Assist daily on field trips by walking or bus; must be able to walk daily 2 miles during program hours.
• Follow local policies and procedures for educational requirements and building operations.
• Participate in in-service training and complete hours for DCC and STARS regulations.
• Foster healthy relationships among children and provide positive role modeling.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and share only on a need-to-know basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
