Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years' related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and write correspondence; effective communication.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements for weights, volumes and distances.
• Forklift certification may be required depending on branch.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components for assembly by reading tickets and gathering materials.
• Assemble door units and modify as per tickets.
• Operate chop saws and other shop equipment.
• Inspect quality and accuracy throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean production area and proper storage of materials.
• Perform routine tool maintenance and safety compliance.
• Cross-train to handle all stations along the line.
