Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Distribution Pre Finish Associate in Farmers Branch, TX to prepare and assemble components for pre-hung door units, following detailed work tickets and safety procedures. You will work under supervision to read orders, gather materials, and perform assembly tasks on a fast-paced line.

The role emphasizes high attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to operate various saws and pneumatic tools.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; write correspondence and present information clearly.
Ability to perform basic math operations and measure using various units.

Responsibilities

Preparing the components for assembly by reading tickets to identify materials.
Gathering prescribed materials from stock using hand trucks, rolling carts and forklifts (if certified).
Assembling components of the job, including millwork products like exterior and interior door units.
Reading orders and identifying necessary modifications; operating machinery to modify products.
Maintaining a clean production area and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
