Job summary

Fire Fighter Sales and Service Co. in Warrendale, PA is seeking a Pre-Engineered Systems Technician to inspect pre-engineered systems and perform minor repairs.

You will collaborate with the pre-engineered division on inspections, coordinate service schedules, and assist field personnel in the field. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of pre-engineered systems, and strong communication skills to maintain excellent customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of all types of pre-engineered systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good relationships with customers.
• Ability to manage field personnel.
• Ability to work with office personnel.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft office.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all pre-engineered systems (hoods, vehicle systems, paint booths, etc.).
• Work directly with the pre-engineered division on inspections and repairs.
• Coordinate service work schedules with various departments.
• Resolve any issues/problems in the field regarding pre-engineered systems.
• Survey repairs and facilitate work to be completed with service sales.
• Review deficiencies and provide estimate of labor and material to service sales.
• Work with the inspection department.
• When needed, perform annual inspections of fire extinguishers and e-lights, when it is needed the same day as the pre-engineered system inspection.
