Job summary

Putzmeister in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled inspector/mechanic to support final inspection and test activities for large line components, chassis, and rework confirmation. You will use basic hand tools, read hydraulics schematics, and document test results.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in manufacturing/inspection or 1–3 years hydraulic experience, own tools, a valid Class B CDL, and be willing to overtime. Safety training and ongoing on‑the‑job training are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years manufacturing, mechanical, inspection experience or 1–3 years hydraulic experience.
• Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics.
• Able to understand metric measurements system.
• Must have own set of basic hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CDL Class B required.
• Good communication skills and overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Install test instruments (test fixtures, gauges, flow meters) using basic hand tools.
• Complete required test documentation.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic system and components.
• Final inspection of all newly manufactured product.
• Prepare rework reports for manufacturing and QA Manager.
• Weighing and road testing of truck mounted machines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
