Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate role in California. You will assist customers, guide product selection, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You’ll help with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining attractive, in-stock shelves.

Position requires standing for long periods and ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings. Eligible for benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Comfort with cash handling and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and perform shelf recovery and merchandising.
