Job summary

The California State University—Sonoma State University is seeking a Sonoma and Napa Region Pre-Collegiate Program Assistant (Casual Worker) to provide academic, operational, and motivational support to Upward Bound and Academic Talent Search participants in grades 6–12. This is a part-time, temporary, hourly position.

Under supervision of the site Program Manager and with lead direction from the Associate Director, the role involves assisting with programmatic needs to meet annual objectives,

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience working with a diverse participant population.
• Ability to communicate professionally with grades 6–12, parents, schools, and partners.
• Typing and proficiency in MS Office or Google Apps required.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, operational, and motivational support to Upward Bound and ATS participants in grades 6–12.
• Assist with programmatic needs to meet annual objectives.
• Support site Program Manager and Associate Director with daily tasks.
