The role includes ensuring compliance with all documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing follow-ups. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of experience in the Real Estate or Title Industry, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Qualia. Responsibilities

• Taking a residential title file from inception through closing with persistent attention to detail.
• Ensuring compliance with contracts, settlement statements, mortgages, deeds, and policies of title insurance.
• Verifying monetary amounts to satisfy all mortgages, taxes, and judgments.
• Preparing and reviewing documents necessary for settlement.
• Coordinating with buyers, sellers, and real estate agents for information necessary to facilitate a smooth settlement experience.
• Reviewing legal documentation to ensure accuracy and proper notarization.
• Updating proprietary software with follow-ups, results, and data entry.

Works Directly With: Members of the Pre- and Post-Closing Processing teams, Branch Manager and Branch Settlement Officers.

SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Taking a residential title file from inception through closing with persistent attention to detail and follow up.
• Ensuring compliance with contracts, settlement statements, mortgages, deeds, and policies of title insurance.
• Verifying that monetary amounts are correct to satisfy all mortgages, taxes and judgments, and overseeing the collection of all fees and charges associated with the settlement.
• Preparing and reviewing documents necessary for settlement.
• Coordinating with buyers, sellers and real estate agents to obtain all of the information necessary to facilitate a smooth settlement experience.
• Reviewing all legal documentation to ensure that it is accurate, properly notarized and recorded, and prepared and submitted in proper form.
• Updating proprietary software with follow-ups, results, and other data entry.

Wage Range:$22/hr – $31.25/hr
