Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Pre-Clerk for our Otsego, MN Service Center. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday on the 2nd shift and pays an hourly rate of $20.42.

Responsibilities include answering a multi-line phone system, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Ideal candidates multitask well, type at 30 WPM, and are dependable and well-organized with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and work with urgency in a busy office.
• Accurate typing at 30 WPM with high attention to detail.
• Reliable, organized and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and MS Office suite.
• Strong office, telephone, and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Windows and Outlook applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi-line system and direct to correct contacts.
• Perform data entry and process driver paperwork.
• Assist dispatchers with administrative tasks as needed.
• Support daily office operations and maintain orderly records.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well-organized
• Must be computer literate
• Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills
• Basic knowledge or Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products

Preferred

• 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast pace environment
• Freight logistics experience
