Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Grants Administrator to develop and submit complex research proposals. You will manage budgets, prepare justifications, and support multi‑investigator projects within the Stem Cell Research Center.

Responsibilities include coordinating submissions, maintaining proposal libraries, and collaborating with GMP/Alpha Clinic teams. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of research administration guidelines of Federal and non-Federal sponsors.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable compliance requirements related to use.
• Ability to manage significant volume of transactions.
• Ability to perform complex financial analysis and customized reporting.
• Demonstrated competence in the use of spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management and financial reports.
• Strong writing skills and clear communication across audiences.
• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit single- and multi-investigator federal, state and private contracts and grants.
• Develop budgets, budget justifications, and proposal documents.
• Enter data and upload documents into grant submission platforms (Kuali, Cayuse, ProposalCentral, CIRM GMS, NIH ASSIST).
• Lead monthly and ad hoc proposal preparation meetings with faculty.
• Provide project management support for multi-investigator proposals.
• Assist with post-award management,采购 needs, and content collaboration with GMP/Alpha Clinic teams.
