Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Clinical Research & Innovation Manager, Pre-award, to lead all pre-award activities for sponsored trials. You will direct budget development, MCA, CTA coordination, and startup financial preparations while safeguarding institutional interests and ensuring smooth transition to post-award.

You will partner with investigators, Sponsored Projects Administration, Legal, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and industry sponsors to accelerate study activation and maintain compliant,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Proven ability to draft/redline, develop, and negotiate clinical trial agreements and budgets.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with industry sponsors and CROs.
• Strong understanding of CTMS and other research administration systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical trial budgets for industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
• Review protocol schedules to identify billable and sponsor-funded activities.
• Lead budget negotiations with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, and device sponsors.
• Ensure Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCAs) are completed.
• Oversee negotiation of CTAs, CDAs, DUAs, RSAs, MTAs, and CUAs.
• Monitor timelines and improve pre-award operations.
• Ensure documentation is organized and compliant.
