Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with minimum 5 years’ related experience if no HS
• 1+ years insurance experience in a healthcare facility or physician's office preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to function independently and manage clerical tasks efficiently

Responsibilities

• Obtain pre-certification for various testing and/or therapy
• Collect necessary information from physician offices for authorization
• Perform data entry and record-keeping related to certifications
• Contact insurance companies on behalf of physicians or medical centers
