Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing with APN specialty.
• Two years clinical experience preferred.
• Current Michigan RN licensure and APN authority in MI.
• Current BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Reviews diagnostic results and patient work-up, orders appropriate testing.
• Adheres to anesthesia and surgery guidelines and uses clinical judgment for further testing.
• Communicates abnormal findings to PCP and nursing staff.
• Schedules anesthesia consultations per protocol and updates H&P before surgery.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and documents H&P thoroughly.
• Participates in quality improvement, education, and meetings as requested.
