MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization seeks a supervisor for the pre-analytic laboratory team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, schedule work, and provide technical direction to improve quality in line with performance standards.
Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED (Associate's Degree preferred) and certification as a Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory Assistant, plus 1 year of phlebotomy/MLA experience. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Summary: Provides day to day supervision to the pre-analytic laboratory team for both operations and human resources management. Accountable for scheduling and work distribution. Provides technical direction, develops, monitors, and takes appropriate action to improve overall departmental quality, as outlined by performance standards. Ensures training and competency assessments are completed. May perform pre-analytic functions when needed.

The pay range for this position is $29.45 to $39.84 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
