Job summary

Center for Special Surgery, part of USPI, is seeking an experienced Pre Admissions Testing Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The role focuses on coordinating nursing care, data collection for assessments, and developing care plans in collaboration with patients and families.

You will work within a dynamic ambulatory surgery environment, engaging with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered pre-admission care and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians and the public.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness to change, creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing assessments and care planning for pre-admissions.
• Identify interventions to achieve expected outcomes and implement the plan of care.
• Collaborate with patient/family and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Document processes and ensure age-appropriate care delivery.
