Job summary

Center for Special Surgery, part of USPI, is seeking an experienced Pre Admissions Testing Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The role focuses on coordinating nursing care, data collection for assessments, and developing care plans in collaboration with patients and families.

You will work within a dynamic ambulatory surgery environment, engaging with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered pre-admission care and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians and the public.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Pre Admissions Testing Registered Nurse

Center for Special Surgery is seeking an experiencedPre Admissions Testing Registered Nurse to join our team.

Today we are the largest ambulatory surgery platform in the country, with more than 350 ambulatory surgery centres and 28 surgical hospitals. We are looking for a Pre Admissions Testing Registered Nurse for our Surgery Center.

Pre Admissions Testing Registered Nurse at Center for Special Surgery

The Pre Admissions Nurse is responsible for the teamwork and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members as appropriate. The Pre Admissions Nurse identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.
