United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Pre Admissions Testing RN to coordinate and deliver nursing care for pre-admission patients. The role involves collection and analysis of assessment data and collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop a care plan and document progress.

The nurse will identify interventions to achieve outcomes, implement plans, and adapt care for diverse age groups, from infancy to geriatrics, ensuring high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license, state of Indiana.
• 2+ years hospital/ASC experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Pre Admissions Nurse is responsible for the teamwork and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members as appropriate. The Pre Admissions Nurse identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2-year experience in a hospital or ASC setting
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, problem solve, identify errors, and seek clarification.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, office staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Ability to identify care needs for patients from infancy to geriatrics
• Excellent teaching skills
