Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Pre Admissions Nurse to coordinate the nursing care process, assess data, identify outcomes, and develop a patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team.

You will implement interventions, document progress, and adapt to the diverse needs of patients from infancy to geriatrics, while maintaining excellent communication, professionalism, and teaching skills in a hospital or ASC setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 2-year experience in a hospital or ASC setting
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, problem solve, identify errors, and seek clarification.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, office staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Ability to identify care needs for patients from infancy to geriatrics
• Excellent teaching skills
• Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology

Pay range: Min $38.03- Max $57.05
