Responsibilities include pre-operative teaching, counseling, and evaluations, and ensuring clear communication to support positive outcomes. Full-time schedule with alternating 10-hour shifts, daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Nebraska. (Compact state license must declare Nebraska as primary residence within 30 days and obtain Nebraska permit/license).
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical care for patients.
• Conduct pre-operative teaching, counseling, and evaluations.
• Serve as a liaison between the surgery unit and physician offices.
• Facilitate effective communication to support positive patient outcomes.
• Provide outstanding patient-centered care and support.
