Tufts Medicine MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for Pre Admission Testing. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week (9a-5:30p) with no on-call, weekends, or holidays, supporting a wide range of surgical services in a patient-centered environment.

The position requires Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS certification; a BSN is preferred. Responsibilities include clinical nursing care, care coordination, and discharge planning to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required based on the unit.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience.
• Prior circulating and scrubbing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about perioperative processes.
• Coordinate discharge planning and community resources.
• Support clinical staff and participate in department committees.
