Honigman LLP in Detroit is seeking a Practice Operations Assistant to deliver high-quality administrative support to the operations team. The role requires a proactive, organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of practice operations and meeting logistics.
You will master firm software including MS Office, Adobe, and Nuance, coordinate meetings across departments, maintain Outlook calendars, and provide back-up reception coverage in Detroit.

In addition to our Corporate Detroit Office, we have offices in Chicago, IL, Grand Rapids, Bloomfield Hills, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Washington D.C. With more than 350 attorneys working in 60 different areas of concentration, Honigman provides timely and cost-effective counsel to clients in numerous industries.
The Practice Operations Assistant will provide high-quality administrative support to the practice operations team. The position requires a professional, highly motivated, intellectually curious, organized self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, maintain attention to detail, and a deep understanding of practice operations and meeting logistics. The position requires superior command of Firm software including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe and Nuance and the document management system. In addition, this position will provide back-up coverage for the Detroit office receptionist.
Honigman provides a generous total compensation package, which includes comprehensive health and well-being benefits, as well as 401k and profit sharing. The anticipated annual pay range for this role is $55,000 to $60,000 (non-exempt). The actual offered pay rate will be determined based on various factors, including qualifications, experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity considerations.
