Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) seeks a senior operations leader to oversee clinical operations and staff management across the El Paso healthcare network. You will guide interdisciplinary collaboration among Associates, leadership and provider colleagues to implement necessary processes and infrastructure.

You will also drive scheduling, training and standardized documentation, and collaborate on policy implementation, financial monitoring and continuous clinical improvement.

Summary

Responsible for the overall clinical operations and general oversight of staff management across the UMC El Paso Healthcare, Inc. practice network. Ensures interdisciplinary collaboration among Associates, leadership and provider colleagues to develop the necessary processes and infrastructure. Collaborates with the management team to set departmental priorities in accordance with overall organizational goals and departmental objectives. Key initiatives includes clinical practice operations, scheduling personnel and staff, training, and standardized documentation, all achieved through the implementation of the necessary policies, procedures and programming to ensure a consistent experience with care and support. Brings a balance of strategic thinking, directing teams and hands-on execution. Responsible for monthly monitoring of financial results, variance reporting and actions plans to meet established goals. Monitors outcome measures and shares variances with Associates for continuous process improvement in the clinical area.
