Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Practice Manager oversees daily clinic operations at an ambulatory site, working under a Practice Administrator. Responsibilities include supervising approximately 15-25 clinical and non-clinical staff, managing patient experience, and supporting financial and administrative activities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage staff onboarding, hiring, training, workload management, performance evaluations, and professional development plans, ensuring departmental goals are met.
  • Develop and adhere to staffing, revenue, and expense budgets; respond to business changes affecting these goals.
  • Respond to patient complaints, engage in service recovery, monitor patient satisfaction, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead and collaborate with staff to foster a cohesive, engaged, and productive work environment. Address employee relations concerns and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Participate in daily huddles and rounding to facilitate patient flow, ensure adherence to procedures, and promptly address workflow barriers.
Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

  • < 2 years

  • Bachelor's Degree
