Job summary

HeartWell Medical Group in Winter Park, FL is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations and build scalable systems for expansion. This in-office role reports to the physician owner and offers growth as the practice expands.

The ideal candidate will develop SOPs, supervise staff, manage patient flow, and coordinate billing and compliance efforts while driving a high standard of operations.

Qualifications

• :// must have 3+ years of staff management in a medical practice
• Experience building SOPs and operating infrastructure in a medical setting
• Strong written communication and follow-through in procedures and policies

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SOPs; train staff and ensure consistency.
• Lead front desk, checkout, and clinical staff; hire, onboard, coach, schedule, and conduct performance conversations.
• Manage daily operations and patient flow; optimize appointment density, wait times, and procedure scheduling.
• Support revenue integrity; time-of-service collections, copay capture, and billing liaison.
• Coordinate vendors, IT, HIPAA/OSHA training, and policy documentation.
• Plan expansion readiness with physician leadership and multi-site rollout
