Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an experienced Practice Manager to coordinate operations for three specialty service lines in the North Shore: Endocrinology, Nutrition, and Nephrology. The role emphasizes collaboration, fast-paced healthcare operations, and improving access, quality, and patient experience.

Primary onsite locations are Danvers and Salem with frequent travel to other sites. You will supervise ~36 staff, report to the Director of Operations, and drive strategic planning, program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Experience in healthcare supervisory role 5–7 years.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Understanding of accounting principles, physician billing and revenue cycle management.
• Ability to adapt to multiple and rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day administrative performance of secretarial and clinical support staff and manages staff schedules.
• Evaluates daily staffing needs and coordinates replacement of staff.
• Performs hiring, orientation, and evaluation of staff; administers corrective action as needed.
• Coaches and develops staff; ensures mandatory training and HIPAA compliance.
• Develops administrative systems to maximize practice operations; analyzes performance metrics.
• Collaborates on annual budgeting; oversees payroll and payroll issues.
• Monitors patient billing activity for revenue procedures compliance.
