Valley Health Physician Alliance in Las Vegas is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee daily operations of assigned practice sites in compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role requires coordinating licensing, credentialing, and payer arrangements while aligning with IPM and UHS objectives.

The candidate will lead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, manage expenses and revenues, participate in budgeting and recruitment, and uphold confidentiality and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• In lieu of degree, 5-7 years healthcare experience with at least two years in a supervisor capacity.
• CMPE certification preferred.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance and licenses/certifications, with proper credentialing.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure efficient practice operations.

The Practice Manager is responsible for daily operations management and supervision of assigned practice(s) in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• The practice manager will maintain regulatory compliance and is responsible for maintenance of licenses/certifications, primary source validation, proper credentialing with health system medical staff office and payers. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (CBO, marketing, quality team, business development, finance, A/P, payroll, human resources, c-suite, facilities, corporate and local administration) to ensure effective and efficient practice operations.
• Practice manager will be the primary practice liaison to internal and external stakeholders. Manages departmental expenses cost effectively, monitors revenue cycle operations, volume, and revenue generation to ensure practice budgets are met and provider subsidies are kept to a minimum.
• Participates in annual operating and capital budgeting and provider and employee recruitment and onboarding.
• Demonstrates service excellence, conveys professionalism, and always maintains appropriate confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.
