Job summary

South Texas Health System – Clinics seeks an experienced healthcare administrator to oversee clinic operations, scheduling, records, billing and compliance across multiple sites in the Rio Grande Valley. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree or 5–7 years of healthcare supervisory experience, 3–5 years in supervision, and CMPE certification preferred.

Strong leadership, budgeting and policy development skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5–7 years healthcare experience with at least two years in a supervisor capacity.
  • 3–5 years supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • CMPE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all practice activities including patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, cash posting, clinic certifications and licenses, required education, inventory and resource utilization.
  • Ensure smooth, accurate, efficient, safe, high quality, compliant, productive operations of assigned medical practices in accordance with regulations.
  • Develop, implement and maintain office policies and procedures. Uphold IPM and UHS policies, goals and standards.
  • Facilitate communication and practice rounding with all practice personnel, including providers.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
