Job summary

USC Marshall School of Business, Graduate Career Services, seeks a Practice Group Leader for the consulting track to drive internship and full-time outcomes for MBA students. You will lead a portfolio of employers, coordinate events, and leverage the Trojan Network to connect students with alumni and industry partners.

The role requires an MBA or related master’s, with strong career services leadership and knowledge of consulting recruitment. Salary range is competitive and offers USC benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four years of full-time relevant experience (Career Services or direct industry experience).
• Specific knowledge of the consulting recruitment landscape and process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead strategist for the assigned practice group; make strategic decisions on how to use limited time and resources to drive the professional success of MBA students in the respective practice area.
• Ensure the delivery of career education - resume and cover letter reviews, interview preparation, industry-specific preparation - through one-on-one, group advising, and workshops with the full-time staff, peer advisors, alumni, technology, or other resources.
• Build and maintain an appropriate employer portfolio to facilitate the professional success of the respective practice area; drive internship and full-time outcomes for MBA students; grow the employer portfolio year-over-year.
• Plan and coordinate a diverse range of employer-facing events; provide leadership to the Practice Group Coordinator; drive student engagement in programs.
• Leverage the Trojan Network to connect students with alumni; enhance Marshall Career Services initiatives.
