Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Practice Administrator II DoP to oversee administrative and financial operations of a large multi-site practice, coordinating with satellite leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the department chair.

You will optimize daily operations, manage staffing and budgets, collaborate across hospital departments, and contribute to clinical outcome measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of healthcare admin experience or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience managing administrative and financial operations in a large practice or multi-site setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational efficiency, throughput, and coverage for assigned clinical areas.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership to optimize staffing and staff development; delegate authority appropriately.
• Prepare and monitor department budgets with physician/nurse leaders; track variances against budget.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and third-party payor requirements.
• Act as liaison between department/program and hospital departments; participate in committees and cross-functional initiatives.
• Support development of disease-specific clinical outcome metrics and identify workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with hospital personnel and departmental faculty to plan and implement strategic clinical objectives.
