Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital seeks a Practice Administrator II DoP to lead the administrative and financial operations of a medium-to-large clinical practice across Boston and Needham. The role ensures regulatory compliance, collaborates with satellite leadership, and supports the Director and Clinical Chair in achieving department goals.

The position emphasizes staffing, budgeting, and performance improvement, with opportunities for hybrid work after the training period and extensive interaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience OR Master's degree with 4 years of experience.
• Experience in clinical/research operations, business planning and financial management.
• Ability to manage staff, delegate, coach and maintain high work standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational efficiency, throughput and coverage for clinical areas.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership to staff, coach and develop staff.
• Prepare and monitor department budgets; track variances versus plan.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and third-party payor requirements.
• Liaise with hospital departments, ISD, facilities, vendors and committees.
• Interact with program chiefs and nursing leadership on operations.
• Support development of disease-specific clinical outcome metrics.
• Plan strategic vision for clinical components with departmental faculty.
