Job summary

The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center seeks an Evening Practical Nursing Instructor for our Health Sciences Campus in Willow Street, PA. The PN program prepares students for employment in hospitals, extended care facilities and community settings, and is approved by the PA Board of Nursing and accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.

The role requires BSN (or progress toward) and PA RN licensure, with 2+ years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required, or in the process of earning a BSN.
• Experience in Medical Surgical Nursing preferred.
• RN license in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 2 years related nursing experience.
• 3-5 years clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide theoretical and hands‑on instruction to students in activities, and competencies, designed to promote social, intellectual and employment growth.
• To assist students in gaining the competencies needed to satisfy PA State Board of Nursing requirements.
• The Instructor will be responsible for providing classroom, lab and clinical instruction, assessment, as well as developing and conducting learning programs and associated materials for students with the ultimate goal of producing entry‑skilled and employable students.
• Serve on the faculty committee

Schedule

Weekday evenings - Monday-Thursday. Classroom instructional days 1:50 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Clinical days are 4:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Salary

RN Only: $65,362 - $67,315; Bachelor's Degree: $73,172 - $76,641; Master's Degree: $83,467 - $86,936

• Based on years of experience
• Additional compensation for additional credits beyond bachelor's and master's degrees
