Penn State Berks Practical Nursing Program invites applications for Part‑time Adjunct Program Faculty for evening and weekend classes and clinical experiences.

Qualified candidates will hold an active PA Nursing license and a BSN; MSN is preferred. Prior acute care and/or community health experience is desirable, and prior nurse‑educator roles are encouraged but not required.

Qualifications

• Active PA Nursing license.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred; BSN required.
• Experience in Acute Care Medical-Surgical, Long‑term care, or Community Health Nursing.
• Experience as a nurse educator is recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evening and weekend instruction for classes.
• Coordinate clinical experiences for nursing students.
• Maintain compliance with licensure and program standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Nursing license
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred); a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required
• Experience in Acute Care Medical‑Surgical, Long‑term care, or Community Health Nursing
• Experience as a nurse educator is recommended but not required
• Preparation to provide names, titles, and contact information for three professional references, if requested
