Job summary

Lancaster County CTC is seeking a Practical Nursing Substitute Instructor for evening, part-time work at the Health Sciences Campus in Willow Street, PA. You will deliver instruction using pre‑established lesson plans to support student learning and success.

Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program and an active PA RN license. Two to four years of nursing education and three to five years of clinical nursing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license (must obtain licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania before start date).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a commitment to student success.
• Teach skills appropriate to the occupational area to prepare students to become an economic asset.
• Guide students in selection, perception, and performance of suitable learning activities.
• Start and end class at designated time.
• Supervise student conduct to ensure that classrooms and labs provide an orderly environment conducive to productivity.
• Accept responsibility for equipment, tools, and supplies assigned to the classroom.
• Other duties as assigned.
