Job summary

Piedmont Community College is seeking a Nursing faculty member to plan, prepare for, and teach designated courses. You will evaluate student progress, advise students, and supervise PN students in clinical settings while maintaining required records and contributing to program planning.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing Programs and the Dean of Health & Public Safety, with duties including committee service and ongoing program improvement.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in NC.
• BSN from regionally accredited college/university.
• Two years of clinical nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare for, and teach assigned courses.
• Evaluate student progress and provide academic advising.
• Supervise and evaluate PN students in clinical activities.
• Maintain records and submit institutional reports on time.
• Participate in program and institutional planning; serve on committees.
• Assist with program curriculum development and evaluation.
• Provide input in college’s Planning Process.
• Maintain weekly office hours and recruit students.
