Piedmont Community College (NC) seeks an experienced nursing instructor to teach theory, lab, and clinical courses for the evening/weekend nursing cohort on the Caswell County campus, with some instruction at Person County campus. The role includes lab setup, clinical supervision, advising, and program evaluation.

Requires a Master’s in Nursing and nursing-education coursework with two years of bedside nursing experience; RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing required and 9 SH/45 CE hours in Nursing Education to meet NCBON rules.
Two years of full-time bedside nursing experience required.
Valid RN license and BLS certification.
Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Teach nursing theory, lab, and clinical courses for evening/weekend cohort.
Set up and monitor labs; supervise clinicals.
Assist in academic advising and program evaluation.
Evaluate and grade student work across homework, papers, exams, and clinical documentation.
Maintain current and accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Communicate availability to students and integrate distance learning technology into instruction.
Participate in recruitment events and faculty committees.
