Job summary

You will lead category strategies, supplier due diligence, RFPs, and contract negotiations, managing risk and cost while ensuring supply continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the category strategy for PR&D including market analysis, supplier identification, evaluation and selection.
• Negotiate contracts and manage risk, cost, and supply; oversee supplier due diligence, RFPs, contracts, and awards.
• Lead on-site due diligence with potential CMOs and discuss terms of supplier contracts with business partners.
• Ensure agreements address supply risks and company liabilities.
• Provide market intelligence on CMO capabilities and maintain supplier relationships.
