Job summary

GIGABYTE is seeking a PR & Communications Specialist to support North American media strategies for GIGABYTE and AORUS products. You will drive media outreach, coordinate press materials, track content performance, and facilitate communication between internal teams and external media partners to boost brand visibility in gaming, creator, and AI PC spaces.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in PR/Communications/Marketing and 3–5 years of PR or related experience, with advanced hardware

We are looking for a motivated PR & Communications Specialist to join our team and shape our brand identity.

As a PR & Communications Specialist, you will support the execution of media strategies for GIGABYTE and AORUS computer products in North America. This role focuses on assisting in media outreach, coordinating press materials, tracking content performance, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external media partners. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth PR operations, helping drive brand awareness and media coverage in the gaming, creator, and AI PC space.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and product awareness.
  • Coordinate media outreach by drafting press releases, review guides, media alerts, product announcements, and other external communications.
  • Track and monitor press coverage, compile reports, and provide insights on PR campaign performance.
  • Maintain press database, manage review sample inventory, and troubleshoot technical issues with outbound samples.
  • Assist in event planning for tradeshows, product trainings, and other media events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such product marketing and social media teams, to promote brand leadership and deliver messaging consistency.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor coverage, and emerging PR opportunities.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Advanced understanding of PR principles within the technology and gaming industries.
  • Strong project management skills with prior experiences working with agencies and influencers.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with media relations, press release formats, and PR reporting tools.
  • Experience in eSports, gaming peripherals, etc. is a PLUS
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced technical knowledge on computer hardware is required.
Working Conditions:
  • Light work travel is expected to support work events.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. when shipping products.
