Razer USA Ltd in Irvine is seeking a Public Relations Manager to lead PR execution for a portfolio of products and initiatives, reporting to regional PR Lead and supporting the global PR team, driving awareness, engagement, and brand reputation through strategic communications and media relations.
You will develop regional communication strategies for the Americas, manage agencies, build media relationships, and function as a spokesperson for product briefings.
The Public Relations Manager role is responsible for leading PR execution for a key portfolio of products and initiatives. Reporting to the regional PR Lead and supporting the global PR team, the PR Manager plays an integral role in the success of all public relations activities, driving awareness, engagement, and brand reputation through strategic communications and media relations.
Develop and implement targeted communication strategies for the North, Central, and South American markets to support product initiatives. Present strategy to internal stakeholders including regional marketing leadership, global PR, and business unit leads. Provide a high level of organization, process management, and reporting to ensure that all internal groups are synchronized with PR plans and corresponding results. Direct PR agencies and other external PR resources. Implement breakthrough Earned Media strategies and activation frameworks to build brand awareness and affinity, elevate brand equity, engage new consumers, and inspire loyalty. Develop solid relationships with core tech media and influencers. Represent the company as a spokesperson for the media, including regularly briefing reviews on products. Establish strategic media relations plans for new product launches and hero products. Manage KPIs and maintain and leverage reporting tools to demonstrate results/success. Implement the organization’s public relations strategies, policies, and procedures. Staff events and develop winning presentations in tandem with Product Evangelists. Maintain a current database of media contacts and foster relationships. Coordinate public relations activities with promotional, events, and sales activities. Develop media target lists that align with stated product and corporate goals. Corporate PR support as needed. Manage the media targets and the distribution of product samples. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Journalism or communications background is a plus.
Travel as needed – approximately 10% of the time
