Freese and Nichols seeks a Communications and Social Media Specialist to manage social platforms across multiple southern offices, shaping the firm’s presence and coordinating content for the PR/Communications team.
The role focuses on telling stories from our engineers and scientists, leading training for staff, and developing campaigns for business development and recruitment.
Freese and Nichols is seeking a Communications and Social Media Specialist to work from any of these offices across the southern United States: Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Frisco, Houston or Corpus Christi, Texas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Rogers, Arkansas; or Raleigh or Charlotte, North Carolina. The Communications and Social Media Specialist will help tell the stories of our engineers, planners and scientists and their impact on our communities, with a particular focus on overseeing Freese and Nichols’ social media strategy. As the primary administrator of our social media platforms, you will shape Freese and Nichols’ presence on social media and will coordinate content produced by the PR/Communications team. You’ll also be a versatile communicator who can independently find and develop stories for business development, recruitment and internal audiences. Continuing our efforts to strengthen employee engagement, you will lead training for technical staff and corporate leaders and partner with them on communications campaigns. Duties generally fall into two categories, content development and social media management.
