Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking a PR & Communications Manager in New York to lead public relations and communications for the brand in the United States. You will oversee press strategy, celebrity and influencer engagement, media relationships, events, gifting, samples, and wholesale/retail marketing support.

The role partners with wholesale, merchandising, retail, and headquarters teams to develop assets and sample programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in PR, marketing, or communications.
  • At least 5 years of PR experience, luxury fashion preferred.
  • Proficient with media tools and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Execute PR strategies, activations, and influencer initiatives.
  • Oversee agency deliverables, press relations, and media tracking.
  • Coordinate press days, events, gifting, and sample requests.
  • Monitor budgets, vendors, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with wholesale, retail, and HQ on assets and samples.
  • Manage a PR Coordinator or Associate.

Summary

The PR & Communications Manager will execute public relations and communications initiatives for the brand in the United States. This role oversees press strategy, celebrity and influencer engagement, media relationships, events, gifting, samples, and wholesale and retail marketing support.

Responsibilities

  • Execute communications strategies, press activations, media partnerships, and celebrity and influencer initiatives.
  • Manage agency deliverables, press relationships, editorial targets, press releases, coverage tracking, and media databases.
  • Coordinate press days, fashion shows, VIP dressing, events, gifting initiatives, and sample requests.
  • Track sample orders, budgets, vendors, competitor activity, and industry trends.
  • Partner with wholesale, merchandising, retail, and headquarters teams on marketing assets and sample support.
  • Manage a PR Coordinator or Associate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications.
  • At least 5 years of PR experience, preferably in luxury fashion or with a relevant agency.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Adobe, Launchmetrics, Cision, and media tracking services.
