Job summary

Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, seeks a PPS Coordinator for Yorktown, VA. This per diem role pays $50 per hour and requires active licensure in nursing or an allied health field, plus hospital rehab experience. You will support IRF-PAI data collection, CMS guidance compliance, and PPS-related tasks under the PPS Manager.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure in nursing (RN) or allied health profession (PT/OT/SLP) required.
• Minimum of two years experience in rehabilitation or a closely related field required.
• Previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the data collection on the IRF-PAI.
• Ensures presence of supporting documentation and provides staff education to ensure CMS compliance.
• Coordinates all efforts for immediate issue resolution concerning Section GG scoring.
• Conducts ongoing review of IRF-PAI data and assists PPS Manager with IRF-PAI completion.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and staff education to document scores and co-morbidities per CMS guidelines.
• Assists the PPS Manager with PPS functions including IRF-PAI data collection, medical coding, transmittals, and corrections.
