Job summary

NYES Protect in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Product Development & Sample Coordinator to lead the end-to-end sample pipeline for medical devices, PPE, and textiles within our ISO 13485 framework.

You will own design control, maintain tech packs and BOMs, and track materials using Zoho, Excel and Google Workspace, while coordinating Sales, Supply Chain, Quality and Production to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in product development, project management, or operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Background in medical devices, PPE, or textiles; ISO 13485 or regulated QMS preferred.
• Technical design: garment construction, textile specs, and tech packs with version control and reverse-engineering.
• Systems & tools: hands-on Zoho and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Project execution: detail-oriented with multiple timelines in a fast-paced setting.
• Communication & collaboration: proactive, cross-functional relationship builder.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end sample development process from request through approval, coordinating between Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production.
• Maintain an organized sample library and inventory, track prototypes, archive iterations, and ensure traceability.
• Maintain and update all technical product documentation (patterns, tech packs, BOMs, specs) and ensure current docs are available for production.
• Document project decisions, approvals, specifications, and milestones in systems to support Quality Management requirements.
