In this role, you will collect representative samples from finished goods, perform physical and performance testing, document results, and confirm that products meet internal quality requirements and applicable regulatory standards. The work demands precision: standardized test methods executed consistently, results recorded accurately, and findings communicated clearly to Quality and Production. The position sits within the company’s ISO 13485 Quality Management System and reports to the Quality Manager. If you are methodical, detail-driven, and want your testing to carry real weight in what ships, we want you on our team.

Sampling & Test Execution

Collect representative samples from finished pallets of manufactured products according to established sampling plans and quality procedures. Perform laboratory testing on fabric and product samples using approved ASTM, AATCC, internal, and customer-specific test methods. Read, interpret, and accurately execute ASTM, ISO, and AATCC methods to ensure consistent and repeatable results.

Equipment Operation & Calibration

Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment, including the tensile testing machine, hydrostatic head tester, and additional physical testing equipment as required. Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and testing areas in a clean, organized, and inspection-ready condition.

Documentation & Reporting

Record, analyze, and report test results accurately in laboratory documentation systems. Support internal and external quality audits by maintaining accurate laboratory records and documentation.

Nonconformance & Continuous Improvement

Identify and communicate nonconforming test results to Quality and Production personnel. Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all testing activities comply with laboratory procedures, safety requirements, and Quality Management System requirements. Follow all company safety policies and proper handling procedures for laboratory equipment and materials.
