Role Overview:The PPC Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and optimizing paid digital marketing campaigns across multiple Google Ads accounts. This role is critical in driving high-quality traffic, generating leads, and optimizing ad spend efficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, data-driven, and highly responsive to client and internal feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management:- Build, launch, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across multiple client accounts.
- Structure campaigns by objective and strategy (Search, Display, Video, Performance Max, etc.).
- Create and manage ad groups, responsive search ads, sitelinks, callouts, and other assets.
- Perform ongoing keyword research and expansion, including discovery and competitor analysis.
Optimization & Monitoring:- Conduct daily/weekly negative keywording to eliminate wasteful spend.
- Maintain and update brand exclusion and negative keyword lists.
- Monitor Quality Scores, CTR, CPC, CPA, impression shares, and conversion performance.
- Use A/B testing strategies to improve ad copy, headlines, and calls to action.
- Adjust bidding strategies and budget allocations based on performance.
Reporting & Communication:- Create and maintain performance dashboards or reports (e.g., Looker Studio, Google Sheets).
- Provide weekly updates and monthly summaries on KPIs, wins, and action items.
- Communicate campaign goals, updates, and performance insights to clients via email and Zoom.
- Collaborate with internal teams (SEO, content, design) for landing page alignment and creative assets.
Account Hygiene & Quality Control:- Perform regular audits for campaign structure, naming conventions, and tagging (UTMs).
- Implement and maintain conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager and GA4.
- Keep up to date with Google Ads policies and platform changes.
- Ensure all ad content is compliant with client brand guidelines and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Experience:- 2+ years managing Google Ads campaigns at an agency or in-house.
- Google Ads Certification (Search minimum; Display, Video, and Shopping are a plus).
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager.
- Familiarity with call tracking platforms (e.g., CallTrackingMetrics or CallRail).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction.
- High attention to detail, particularly in budgeting and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
