Xcel Energy seeks a Power Purchase professional to coordinate, negotiate, and manage long-term PPAs, helping minimize costs and optimize the power supply portfolio. You will support PP leadership and collaborate with legal, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure compliant and effective contracts.

We value experience in energy procurement and contract administration, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, finance or similar.
• Experience in energy industry including procurement, energy trading, energy dispatch/scheduling, transaction origination, regulatory issues or contract negotiation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate PPAs and provide guidance under leadership to minimize costs and optimize the portfolio.
• Administer and manage all aspects of PPAs and related documents.
• Analyze proposals and contracts for financial and business risks; prepare summaries for review.
