Job summary

RPM xConstruction, LLC is seeking a Backhoe Operator to support road and infrastructure projects across Texas. You will operate a backhoe on active job sites, assist with excavating, material handling, and site cleanup.

We value mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in varied weather. Candidates must pass background checks and drug screening. This full-time position offers benefits including 401(k) and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years loader operator experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work under all weather conditions.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Performs road maintenance or construction related duties while operating equipment.
• Operates a Backhoe at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; may assist in other duties.
• Digging, excavating, and moving materials such as dirt, rocks, and other aggregates.
• Transports equipment and supplies to and from the job site.
• Maintains job site safety standards.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs road maintenance or construction related duties while operating equipment.


• Operates a Backhoe at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed


• Operates a Backhoe to complete tasks such as digging, excavating, and move and/or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregate


• Transports equipment and supplies to and from the job site.


• Maintains job site safety standards.


• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• 1-3 years Loader Operator experience


• A mechanical aptitude


• Working under all weather conditions


• Must pass background check


• Must pass drug screen
