Job summary

Magna Powertrain offers a Student / Co-Op position within the Systems Engineering team, focusing on NVH and powertrain development. The role provides hands-on lab experience and exposure to 3D CAD design, testing, and data analysis in a collaborative environment.

You will support lead engineers across mechanical, electrical, and controls design, participate in industry research, prototype assembly, and learn the end-to-end co-op process while ensuring safety and quality guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred.
• Enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
• Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical/electrical/controls design in projects.
• Conduct industry research and prototype assembly.
• Assist with NVH testing and instrumentation.
• Learn hands-on in the lab and contribute to team goals.
• Document results and communicate findings.
